Services Offered at City of Hope Phoenix: We offer surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, interventional oncology, genomic testing, precision cancer treatment and immunotherapy. Our clinical specialists treat all major and rare cancers with great attention to optimizing patients’ quality of life using multiple evidence-based clinical resources, treatments, and technology.

Duties:

  • Perform admissions, transfers, daily rounding, and coordination of discharges for medical/surgical patients with oncologic complications in a compassionate, patient-focused environment

  • Respond to codes and rapid responses

  • Collaborate closely with pharmacists, medical/surgical specialty teams, and other ancillary staff as necessary to develop and manage a comprehensive plan for patients admitted to the hospital

  • Current census 10-15. 38 total beds

  • EPIC EMR

  • 24/7 vascular access team

Shifts:

  • Rotating weeks

  • Monday-Sunday

  • 7 am-7:00 pm

Qualifications:

  • Education:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)

  • Board Certification:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology

  • Must have or be eligible to obtainArizona Medical Licenseprior to start date

  • Experience and interest in the care of inpatient oncology patients

  • Competency in comanaging ICU patients in conjunction with critical care medicine

  • ACLS
