Research Technician I - Sun Lab
Department: Arthritis & Clinical Immuno
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Position Overview and Responsibilities
The Sun Lab is seeking a full-time Research Technician I. Join a research team exploring the mechanisms by immune cell development and function are regulated. Major duties include maintaining mouse colonies as well as participating in different animal experiments, tissue dissection, and flow cytometry. Small independent research projects are also available.
Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in one of the biological sciences, physics, chemistry, or related area, or equivalent years of relevant lab experience.
• Familiarity with lab techniques.
• Excellent organizational skill.
• Ability to follow detailed experimental protocols.
• Must be able to work well as part of a team.
• Must be willing to work with mice.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Motivation to learn and curious about scientific questions.
• Highly responsible and with good work ethic.

Work Hours
Typically Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM.
