The Department of Molecular and Translational Medicine in the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine at Texas Tech Health El Paso (TTHP) seeks highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate candidates to join its Center of Emphasis in Cancer. Our research is focused on advancing the understanding of cancer biology and developing innovative approaches for cancer prevention and treatment.

Successful candidates should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field, strong scientific and analytical skills, and knowledge of modern biological research practices. Preferred experience includes tissue culture, genomics, and proteomics, digital imaging, laboratory animal models and surgical procedures. We seek highly motivated individuals committed to innovative and collaborative cancer research.

The Department of Molecular and Translational Medicine seeks to understand the fundamental mechanisms underlying human disease and translate new scientific discoveries into effective approaches for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Cancer research is a major area of emphasis within the department, supported by substantial core facilities for translational research. This collaborative research environment provides researchers with the resources and expertise necessary to advance discoveries from basic science toward meaningful improvements in cancer prevention and treatment.
